Title: AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 73-53-7, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO PROVIDE THAT ANY PERSON WHO HAS AT LEAST FIVE YEARS OF SOCIAL WORK PRACTICE AS AN EMPLOYEE OF A PUBLIC ENTITY BEFORE JULY 1, 1993, WHO IS ACTIVELY ENGAGED IN SOCIAL WORK PRACTICE AS AN EMPLOYEE OF A PUBLIC ENTITY ON JULY 1, 2000, SHALL BE ISSUED A LICENSE AS A SOCIAL WORKER IF THE PERSON APPLIES FOR THE LICENSE BEFORE SEPTEMBER 1, 2000; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
